Investing in Philippine Stock Market Online part 2

For those, who missed the part 1 just click this Investing in Philippine Stock Market Online part 1  to read it.

I presume that you are prepared to take the risk and done with your research about investing in stock market before doing this. If not, I extremely suggest that you study or do your research  first before proceeding. Like what they always says that in every investment we do there is a risk to consider. But, I always believe that with proper knowledge you can reduce the risk, if we can't avoid it. The investment that has a small risk, has greater chance to become successful investment. So, If there is someone telling you that investing with them is risk free at all, you better ran away as far as you can because it is most probably a scam.

The main reason why we invest our money in stock is to make it grow. That is why, before we decide to buy stock we must make it sure that it is a good stock. Investing in the stock market itself is very easy, the hardest part of investing in stock market, for me, is how to determine a good stock to invest in or buy.

Now that you have your Online Trading Account, you are ready to invest or buy whatever stock you want.

Let me share my experience on Stock Trading online using BPI Trade as my broker.

First, I go to BPI Trade website to log-in using my Username and Password.

After that, the home page will appear. To buy and sell stock just click  the word Trading on the left side of your screen.

If you want to buy a stock just click the buy option, type the stock symbol you want to buy, number shares you want, your bid price. Then review everything before you click the submit button, after that they will show you what is the charges and how much they will deduct to your account and ask you to type your password for confirmation, then just press enter or click the confirm button.

If there someone who is willing to sell their stock on you bid price with the same number of shares then the transaction is closed or their called it Match. That is the only time it will reflect to your portfolio.

Portfolio - where you can view your User ID, Account Name, Settlement Account number, Available cash balance, and the list of Stock you owned with the number of share and current market price. To do that just click the word Portfolio on the left side of you screed.

Just for experience last September 30, 2011 I buy 1,000 common shares of GMA7 at the price of Php6.50 per share. After a few days of observation, I'm not satisfied with the performance of the stock. So, on October 13, 2011 I decided to sell the 1,000 share at the price of Php6.60. Want to know how much I gain after selling it? Then let us compute:

Almost the same amount I earned with my Time Deposit last August 2011. To know what I'm saying please read my article about Time Deposit, just click this.

Please feel free to ask question, request, give comments, and suggestion.
