Investing in Philippine Stock Market Online part 1

For those who want to try investing in the Philippine Stock Market online just follow this steps:
1. Choose your accredited Online broker.  To see the list of Philippine Stock Exchange accredited online broker you may visit their website or just simply click this.
2. After you have chosen your online broker, visit their website to know what it the requirements and procedures on how to open an account with them. Most of the  broker website has online application form.
Reminder: you must remember the Username and password that you designate in your application form because you will be needing it in accessing your account on their website, once they approved it.

3. If you have the approved account, just make it sure that you have sufficient fund on it. Then, proceed to their website to log-in using your Username and Password (the one you designate on your application form) and you are ready in buying and selling stocks.
Note: Each broker has their own set of requirements and procedures to follow in issuing or approving the investor application.
I prefer the BPI Trade as my online broker.

Now, I want to share with you my experience in applying on my chosen online broker following the three (3) steps.

1. In my case I choose BPITrade as my broker, since I already have BPInoyATM account that I enrolled in internet banking. I also visited PSE website to check if they are really accredited by PSE.
To verify your chosen broker on PSE website just follow this step:

2. I visited the BPI Trade website to check their requirements and to apply online.
How to apply in BPI Trade online
First go to the BPI Trade home page and follow this steps: ( want to visit the BPI Trade home page just click this. )
A. Just Click the word "Open an account"

B.  Just click "Apply online"

C. Read the General Terms and Conditions, then click next.

D. Read the Online Equities Trading Terms and Conditions. Click I Agree.

E. Before you click your desired account read first the requirements.

F. Fill-up the application form. Review first the application form before you click the submit button.

G. Print it out and sign it.
H. Send it to BPI Trade address. For investor that within the Philippines, you may submit your signed application form in the nearest BPI Branch in your area or  within your branch. For those outside the Philippines, like me, we can send it via snail mail.
I. Just wait for the confirmation email from BPI Trade team.
I sent my application via registered mail and after 15 to 20 days I received an email from BPI Trade team. Informing me that they already received my printed application form.
3. After I received my approved BPI Trade account, I link/enrolled it to my BPInoy ATM account for easy transfer of funds online. Then, I fund my BPI Trade account and I start on investing in stocks.
I just want to share my experience on how I got my online trading account and those people who want to be  an investor, like me, for them to have an idea on what they should do. On how to have  an online trading account and eventually to be an online investor. I do not intend to advertise BPI Trade nor am not an employee of the said company.

    1. Just a few clarification, do you have an account in any BPI? because, one of the requirements of BPI Trade is, you should have an account in BPI for the settlement of funds and easy funding.

Granting that you already have one, like me, I think there is no need for that. In my case I just sent the printed application form with my signature in BPI Trade address. Then, after they received it the sent me an email informing that they received my application and on the same time they asked me to sent a scanned copy of any valid or government issued ID. I just comply with the additional requirements, after that they sent me another email confirming the approval of my application, then I log-in on the website.

Nakalimutan ko pang ung password ko kaya tumawag pa ako sa BPI hotline para mareset ung password ko. Sana nakatulong ung sagot ko!
